We spent Christmas Day away from Jinx and Max so they had to wait for us to get home before they got their presents.

They both did a good job with the unwrapping...





... but deciding whether to play with their new toys or with the wrapping paper was tough!!

Bonjouuuuuuuuuur!

I hope everyone had a lovely, safe, happy, hyggelig Christmas full of love and lollies! We sure did!

I wanted to share a little peek into our Christmas day, and the week or so leading up to it, so here are some of my favourite pics. There may be some more info on some bits and pieces - like newly discovered best recipes and presenty ideas - forthcoming, but given my lack of blogginess through December I don't want to promise anything!

Did anyone else make it to the Scandinavian Christmas Bazaar?
We had such a nice time!
We tried Finnish sima, and ate the most divine danish wienerbrod I have tasted outside of Denmark.

And, of course, there was some shopping too!
Including this beautiful advent calendar:


This is the exact kind of calendar we used to have when we were kid! All glittery and wintery and Christmassy - and not a cheap dodgy square of chocolate in sight!

I have been looking for a real advent calendar like this for years - the lady selling them at the bizaar imports them from Germany, and she had so many gorgeous ones it was practically impossible to choose!
