York

Ok, I've finally figured out how to get a picture from my iPhone to blogger (I think my smart phone might be smarter than me!)

We've just arrived back in London tonight after a week in cambridge and Yorkshire, including the city of York which was possibly the most beautiful place I've ever been!



We stayed right by the minster, which was just amazing!

Plenty more pics to come after I get home, no doubt =)

Yes, in amongst the sight-seeing and shopping and general hygge-ing there has been some knitting!

It turned out that the prospect of knitting up a pair of herringbone mittens on danish soil was just too irresistable ;o)



I really wish I had been able to find the red cleckheaton country that my ravelry stash page assures me I have at home somewhere, but I have to say I think they are knitting up quite splendidly in the blue too!

Well we made it to Denmark last week after almost two days in airports and on planes and trains.

This is the view that we are now enjoying from the kitchen table...



Since this picture was taken a lot of the snow has melted, but a fresh fall yesterday afternoon and overnight meant that this morning we woke to see everything white again.

Just gorgeous!
