Ugh, these past two days have been nuts - always the busiest days of our 17 week work cycle...
Yesterday it was all I could do to drag myself home on my elbows, make myself a poached egg then zzzzz out on the couch (let's not talk about the weird microsleep attack - I woke up with a number of empty Lindt chocolate wrappers on the floor next to me....)
So, tonight, just a couple of words...
On the weekend I had another go at making bread - DELISH!
It was perfect bread risey weather - the yeast really co-operated, and the result was a nice light loaf with sundried tomato, cheese and herbs swirled through mmmm
See the pics in the post below?
The grey knitting, pictured with my fabulous yellow & white project bag, that's my second pair of clafoutis bed socks for Can Assist.
Bells and Rose Red were kind enough put a shout out for Can Assist's campaign to collect socks for cancer patients staying at the Jean Colvin on the Southern Summer of Socks last week - and I'll have more to say about it real soon =)
(oooh, yes, there will be prizes!)
besos =)

Hmmmmm ... delish alright! I'm surprised I couldn't smell it from my place - I would have been over in a flash! (No idea where you live exactly, but I'd have followed my nose. Yes.)
ReplyDeleteThe socks idea for canassist is a great one. I'm hoping I'll be able to contribute something.
Yum, that break looks awesome!! I could absolutely eat a big chunk of that for breakfast this morning - but I guess I'll have to settle for cold cereal. :(
ReplyDeleteHope things calm down and you can get caught up on your sleep.
Scrumptious looking bread!
ReplyDeleteThe clafoutis is a great pattern - good on you. :)
Looks beautiful - I think I'll have to try knitting some gifty socks for a local unit maybe!
ReplyDeleteYum bread - looks and sounds delicious.
ReplyDeleteI've got a pair of socks in mind for Can Assist...just have to find time to make them!
