☁ about kuka

Thanks for visiting my blog! Here are a couple of things you might like to know about me:

♥ I live in Canberra with my boyfriend and two kittens.

♥ After I finished school I spent a year in Denmark on Rotary Student Exchange, and have been obsessed with the country, the people and their way of life ever since. Ooh, and their royals!

♥ I love cooking - I think there are few better ways to spend an afternoon than in the kitchen baking something sweet for my friends and family!

♥ I also love making things - I'm not really wedded to one craft in particular, but like to have a go at everything. I'm a member of the Canberra Brown Owls group, which gives me the opportunity to try new things all the time.

♥ What's a Kuka? Kuka (sounds like 'cook-ah') was a nickname when I spent a year in the Netherlands (although it isn't Dutch) - it kind of means dear or sweet - tiny and cute. While I would never describe myself as tiny and cute, apparently I describe a LOT of other things that way - my friends an I started calling each other kuka, and it just kinda stuck.
