What a coomfy cosy day today - inside, that it. Outside it was another glorious gloomy wintry kind of day. Perfect for acting on all that inspiration, and getting on with some bright crochet of my own =)
This is the start of a(nother!) little project from Jan Eaton's 200 Crochet Blocks - the willow block, to be precise =)
I have blue, yellow and purple, but I'm thinking about throwing in another colour - I'm not sure whether these will be as bright as I want? (I know! Purple and yellow, but not bright enough?!!)
In any case, it should be a good warm-up for our crochet a granny square afternoon at next week's Brown Owls meet!

Now if that's a granny square - I want to learn how to make one! Great pattern! Unfortunately can't make the next one - at Misschief Maker - would love to learn though..
ReplyDeleteOh I love your square. I am fascinated by all the really varied GS patterns.
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty! I have to learn up on my granny making this week if I'm going to have a hope of teaching it on Saturday!
