Copenhagen

We've now safely arrived in Cardiff (despite some flood related delays!) but I wanted to share some pics of beautiful Copenhagen.
On Monday we visited Tivoli with one of my dear school friends and her baby.
They have just opened for Christmas, and it was really quite magical - you walk through the gates and there is a little forrest of Christmas trees with snow, and they have little heaters on burning something that makes it smell like pine, and there are tiny huts with smoke coming out their chimneys, and real live reindeer!
On Tuesday we spent the day in the city on our own before catching the overnight train to Brussels.
We could easily have spent a whole week looking around the city, so there was so much we didn't have time to see, but we did manage to fit in a trip to the Georg Jensen shop and a canal tour starting in Nyhavn =)

  1. I thought of you today when I opened my Delicious Magazine and it had a cooking section from a new book: Scandinavian Cooking by Trine somebody. I am too lazy to get up. Lots of recipes from Denmark, which looks very festive in your pictures!!
